The Board of Notts County Supporters Trust are delighted to announce the election of Eric Kerry as Trust Supporter Director. The Returning Officer, Phil Tooley of Chesterfield Trust, has confirmed that Eric had collected the majority of the votes in a high turnout of Trust Members. Eric takes over the role of Supporter Director from Keri Usherwood who has briefly held the post since Steve Thompson's departure at the end of last season. Eric will formally take up his position at the next Board meeting of the Club.

Trust Chair Keri Usherwood said:

"I'm delighted that over half of the eligible Trust members took the time to cast their votes in this election. That's a fantastic effort and I'd like to thank everyone who took part. Notts County Supporters Trust is one of the few Trusts across the Country who have run a full election to decide on their Supporter Director. The turnout shows that the democratic process is alive and well within our organisation.

Special thanks must also go to Phil Tooley of Chesterfield Trust, Trev Wooley and our Trust Secretary John Collin for the exemplary way in which this election was run. I'd like to congratulate Eric Kerry on his appointment. He has a hard job ahead of him but I'm sure he will repay the confidence placed in him by the membership of the Trust. Two of his major areas of responsibility will be for supporter relations and furthering links between the Club and the community in line with the stated aims of the Trust. We look forward to furthering those aims together through the coming season and beyond".

A full statement from Eric will feature in the next edition of the Trust newsletter. If you wish to contact Eric or any other member of the Trust Board we can be contacted via the Trust Website.

The full result was as follows:
Alan Scott - 200 votes
Eric Kerry - 429 votes
Not properly completed - 1 vote

In total, 630 votes cast.
