The Trust has been involved in discussions with Mike Bettison, Editor at BBC Radio Nottingham with regard live commentaries of Notts County for the new season.

Until relatively recently, BBC Radio Nottingham had been unable to reach an agreement with the Bhatia/Strang consortium with regards a commentary deal for next season.

However, the Trust now understands that since the collapse of the Strang/Bhatia bid the radio station has been in contact with the administrator Paul Finnity and the signs are promising that an agreement will be reached.

Indeed, according to Mike Bettison the deal will hopefully be signed tomorrow. This means there will be full match commentary on every match from this Saturday onwards.
