It is with regret that we have to announce the resignation of Trevor Woolley from the Trust Board. Trevor, who was the Membership officer for the Trust, tendered his resignation this morning.
He has already made a public statement on a forum this morning and gives permission for it to be reproduced below.
------
I got back from holiday late on Thursday and attended the Trust Board meeting despite arriving late. Immediately following the meeting, I regretfully tendered my resignation from the Trust Board. I, amongst others, made it clear during the meeting that I intended to resign whatever the outcome of any proposal or vote. I am now away in London until next week and have no access to email. Can I make it clear that I still fully support the concept of Supporters Trusts and their role in the fans involvement of football clubs and I remain a committed Trust member. However, as a Board member for nearly 3 years, part of the collective responsibility for the current situation sits on my shoulders and therefore I feel no longer able to continue to represent the members effectively. I am sorry if members feel I have let them down, and feel frustrated that I couldn't share opinions more openly on this forum. The last few weeks have been hard for me, but I hope that in carrying out my resignation as I said I would in the meeting, I have retained my integrity. Here's to a good performance & 3 points tomorrow! Cheers, Trev.

Morning All Trust Board Members, I have a question for you all.
Is there any truth in the rumour you are all heading into The Recording Studio, to Re-Record that Old Tremeloes Hit, 'SILENCE IS GOLDEN'.
It is quite clear to almost all of the Trust Members, those of us who are left anyway that you are stalling, as A Trust You have issued far to little to the members as to what the current situation is, (apart from the Resignation Emails), IMO the longer that situation carries on the greater chance that Trust Members will Vote with their feet, most of the feet that I know are getting itchy as I type this post.
