Lucky Notts County Fan Is Oz-Bound!

A lifelong Notts County fan is set for a holiday of a lifetime as the winner of the first prize in the Notts County Supporters Trust Annual Raffle for 2004.

Leonard Daykin will be presented with his prize on the pitch at half time during the FA Cup tie against Middlesborough on 8th January at Meadow Lane.

He will receive a total of 18 nights on the other side of the world for two people – including 2 nights in Hong Kong, 7 nights in Sydney 7 nights in Cairns (for Barrier Reef) and 2 nights in Singapore)

The raffle saw over 12,000 tickets snapped up by supporters. Last year’s first prize winner, Laura Guthrie has recently returned from her Caribbean Cruise courtesy of the Trust Raffle.

Trust Chair Keri Usherwood says:

“Once again we have been delighted with the response to our raffle which has raised a significant sum for us to invest in the Club. We are especially pleased that the top prize has been won by a lifelong Notts County supporter. We hope they have a wonderful time and don’t forget to send us a postcard!”

As with all Trust fundraising events, the more we can raise the more we can invest in our Club. That’s why we would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who got involved”.
