With regards communicating to supporters, I think you need to separate the Club and the Trust. I personally believe that the way this issue has been handled by the Club has been poor, with no clear unpacking of the decision despite the need for clarification. I raised this with the Trust Chair, Keri Usherwood who is pursuing this with the Club Board.

The Trust on the other hand (see Nigel King's earlier posting) have given a justification for supporting the Club Board's decision to close the Centre of Excellence.

As for the finances, I thought the bottom-line was that the uncertainty over the central funding (which has been known about for some months) meant that the Club had to make a difficult decision over whether they were prepared to fund the expected shortfall whilst there is a pressing need for success on the pitch and to provide the new manager with a competitive playing budget.

I am willing to give Steve Thompson a chance, but what was the thinking of giving him a 3 year contract.
What was the process of making Geoff Moor the chairman of Notts?
If the board of the supporters trust were behind this move then I believe we should be looking for a new one with the interest of the supporters at heart.
Ian Richardson for chairman.
How can the board of NCST agree to disband the youth accademy and not consult its members before making a statement?
