Representatives of the Notts County Supporters Trust board will be attending a training day at Highpoint in Leicester this Saturday (19th July). The event is supported by the East Midlands Co-operatives' Education Committee and Supporters' Direct to help members of football trusts across the East Midlands.

In attendance will be Brian Lomax and Simon Binns from Supporters Direct, as well as representatives from supporter trusts at Derby County, Kettering, Lincoln City, Leicester City and Grimsby Town.

The aims of the training day are to examine the legal responsibilities of the trust and the role of the trust secretary. The event will also highlight the main principles and values of supporters' trusts and identifying the common difficulties involved in translating values into practical action.

A report on the training day will appear on the Trust website.

Regards,

Dr. David Hindley
Interim Chair, NCST
