Notts Trust has responded to a request for assistance from concerned fans of Nationwide Conference North side, Worksop Town FC. Supporters formed a working party with a view to setting up a Trust following reports in the local press that the club is on the brink of going into administration.

Trust Chair Keri Usherwood has agreed to speak at a public meeting at the Tigers’ ground on 3rd March about the principles of the trust movement and how trusts provide an effective vehicle for supporter representation. The chief objective of the meeting is to vote to instigate a supporters’ trust at Worksop – a move which has received the backing of the players – and we hope that our contribution will help in this crucial step in setting up a trust.
