Have your say!
After this Saturday’s encounter against promotion chasers Scunthorpe United, Notts County Supporters Trust is holding a fans’ forum in the Masson Suite at Meadow Lane.
The event, which is free and open to all supporters, is the latest in a series of forums organised by the Trust to give fans the opportunity to question key personnel from both the Trust and the Football Club.
Trust Chair Keri Usherwood and Supporter Direct Steve Thompson will be present to update fans on club affairs, listen to supporters’ comments and concerns, and answer questions. It is also expected that player-manager Ian Richardson and Chief Executive Patrick Nelson will attend.
The Supporters Trust is committed to strengthening the voice for supporters in how the Club is run, so come along and have your say!
Venue: Masson Suite, Notts County Football Club
The forum is open to all supporters and will commence at 17:20.

To the Trust Board
Well done for your continued efforts and a further demonstration by the club to communicate with supporters.
I suppose we should'nt be too surprised that one or two find it an irresistable opportunity to have a go and this ,together with some apalling bad manners, caused a little embarrassment for some amongst those attending who recognise how far we have progressed under difficult circumstances.
To the 'individual' who thinks our ''PR'' is bad, it's now several times better than ever before; and what does he think the meeting was about, if not ''PR''. He and his like would do better to offer a constuctive comment and then he might be taken seriously.I thought Patrick remained properly constrained (Saddam would have just had him shot!).
Do we know if that 'individual'is a Trust member? If not can we think again about inviting Trust-only attendees. I'm all for democracy but clearly some remain intent on abusing the chance to engage in proper dialogue. We could, of course, just ignore those who want their moment of petty glory.

Thanks Alan for using the messageboard. I will pass on your comments to the Trust Board.
Unfortunately I was not present at the Trust forum yesterday or the match : ( as it was my girlfriend's graduation ceremony, but judging from past experiences there are always some supporters that are more critical than others. The aim of the forum is to provide an opportunity to fans (whether Trust members or not) to communicate directly with Trust officials, our Supporter Director, the Chief Executive and so on.
It is obviously disappointing when some individuals use this opportunity solely to be negative, but that is the nature of democracy and they have a right for their voice to be heard.
With regards organising member-only forums, I think this is an interesting suggestion. In the past most forums have been held in the Meadow Club, where logistically it would be difficult to monitor/regulate. Holding future events in one of the suites, such as the Masson would make it easier to manage - I'll make sure it is discussed at the next Trust Board meeting.

Thanks for your feedback Alan.
To add to David's comments. At the end of the meeting Keri did ask for a show of hands as to who was a Trust member. This showed that 99% of those present were members.
These forums are all about giving everybody a chance to air their views to the Club management and Trust Board. I hope that more people will come to future forums and ask questions. One thing that we should consider for the next forum is take written questions.
