Ah, now thats a shame, I have just cancelled my standing order for two memberships due to waiting about twelve months for it to become more settled. Our memberships were paid last year a total waste of money, I don't suppose Glenn & Margaret are issuing refunds.

Or is that asking too much as they cannot even get a News Letter out as promised.

Every Thing Forward & Trust In The Lord.

Amen.

Over the last few weeks we have been preparing a News update for members.

This will include answers to questions raised from emails, together with our communications with the club.

Distribution will be via email and post for our non Internet based members ASAP.

Whilst we appreciate members need for information, we would ask to remain patient as we endeavour to do what is best for our Club.

Distribution is ASAP?!?! Or is my newsletter being delivered by a snail?

What makes it worse Bridg4d_Pie is that I am also a member with exactly the same rights as you and I didn't have to pay a penny for that.

Are you telling me that I have been as they say " Ripped Off", along with several others, alegedly.

That is very sad for all Loyal Notts County Supporters.

Update from the Notts County Supporters’ Trust Board 16th February 2011:

The trust board met last week, for the first time since the AGM late last year.

It is important that the membership has the opportunity to make a quick decision regarding whether or not the Trust has a future and then take the appropriate action. To close we need 75% of members to sign a notice and then complete a number of formalities. However, before taking such an irreversible step it is worth carrying out a survey of members, and the wider fan base, to ascertain whether a re-formed trust, with appropriate aims and activities, has a role to fulfil.

The board will need to agree a process to move this forward as matter of priority and will keep the membership informed of progress.

I appreciate it does feel like that. It is proving difficult to arrange a meeting with a representative from Supporters Direct (no blame being attached to them for this) which will help us to move things forward. A discussion paper setting out some options was sent to Board members this week by Tim Holt and this should help move things along.

Hello

Notts County Supporters’ Trust aims to link together Notts supporters and friends, wherever they are based, with each other, with the club and with the wider football community.

Things are changing and new ideas for the Trust are emerging, but we need to consult to ensure we get it right. A small working group has been formed to assess the potential of the Trust to reinvent and reinvigorate itself and a wide consultation is taking place with supporters, individuals and Notts related organisations. We have met with the Club and Ray Trew has endorsed, in principle, the Trust's attempts to redefine itself and its role.

We have an opportunity at the AGM in October to create a new focus for the organisation, with new personnel and renewed energy. But we need to get it right and are very keen to hear the views of all supporters. We have created a survey, which can be found at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Nottstrustsurvey and which will help us shape proposals and inform decisions at the forthcoming AGM. It won't take long to complete. Your replies are important and everything you send is treated in confidence. No details will be shared elsewhere.

Thank you in advance. The Trust belongs to all of us – let’s make it work.
