Notts County Supporters Trust are delighted to welcome Ian “Charlie” MacParland as the new Manager of Notts County. As a former long serving player for the Club Charlie is held in great affection by Magpies supporters everywhere and we are sure he will be a very popular appointment. After several years in exile away from Meadow Lane Charlie has now returned at the beginning of an exciting new era for the Magpies. The Trust are sure that all Notts County supporters will wish Charlie every success in his new role and look forward to welcoming him home.

Acting Trust Chair Dave Hindley says “I am extremely pleased at the appointment of Charlie as Manager. He was a very popular and successful player in his time at Meadow Lane and we look forward to him continuing that success as a Manager.”

After a period of unrest and uncertainty at the Club it is now time for all supporters to get behind Charlie and the players and ensure that the Notts County family move forward into this exciting new era together!
