I suppose fan's forums could be an option on a regular basis no doubt there will be a few press conferences coming up once all is done and dusted.

Sorry but I am finding it difficult here to follow the logic of why the Trust should be disbanded. Yes there have been augments and disagreements along the way but the majority of Trust members - myself included - distanced ourselves from this in-fighting and looked to the bigger picture. The result is that the future of the Club should now be secured thanks in no small part to TRUST Directors and the yes vote from the overwhelming majority of TRUST members. Surely this demonstrates that there is a role for the Trust provided that it represents its members. I strongly think that the Trust should continue in order to promote its founding objects (see section 2 of Trust Rules), which include "to encourage the Club to take proper account of the interests of its supporters and of the community it serves". Surely that is still a valid objective as well as being something that would not be fulfilled by the supporters club? Haydn Green, the Trust and the broader family of Notts supporters have helped save the club from the brink of extinction and hopefully given us the opportunity of better times ahead. However, now is not a time to rest on our laurels but an opportunity to seek to influence the new owners. We should also not forget what has happened in the past and need to remain vigilant to ensure that the ongoing future of our Club is assured.

Paul,
The decision is quite simple.
Those that want the Trust to continue can renew their membership.
We'll see how many members the Trust has in a years time.
