Any chance of the ticket numbers so I can let work mates know how close they were, felt we should have waited for the next match before drawing, takes the gloss of the draw which could have been built up for the next home game and drawn by one of the players, its a bit poor just putting it on a web site, sorry just my opinion

I've brought this thread to the attention of those who should be able to answer your questions.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I know a lot of people are away over Xmas and have family commitments so it's been difficult to answer straight away.

Anyway, hopefully this will answer some of the questions.

The postponement of the Northampton game made things really difficult as we had had to completely change the arrangements for the draw at very short notice. It would have been much better to do the draw another day but unfortunately, this was not possible. Raffles are very closely regulated and we have to have a promoter who has to make sure that we abide by all the rules and regulations. We said on the tickets that the draw would take place on the 26th December and our strong advice from the promoter was that we legally had to do this.

We sold 12,124 tickets which is a great effort. Huge thanks to everyone who helped sell the tickets and to all who bought them.

The winning ticket was drawn by Patrick Nelson, Notts County Chief Executive. I'll make sure the winning numbers are posted up on this site on Thursday when I can confirm them with the promoter who is currently away. Again, sorry for the delay but the combination of Xmas and the arrangements having to be changed due to the match being called off has made things a bit difficult.

We are planning to have a presentation of the prizes on the pitch at a home match very soon.

Hope this helps clarify things. Thanks again to everyone who took part in this. We have raised more vital money which we can use to invest in the Club.

Cheers

Keri
