Notts County Supporters Trust has today obtained what seems to be significant news about the take-over of the Club in a conversation with Sam McEwan, Spokesperson for the Bhatia/Strang consortium.

Mr. McEwan has confirmed to the Trust that Raj Bhatia has today signed the deal with the finance provider which paves the way for the take-over of the Club to be finally completed.

According to Mr. McEwan, the finalities of the take-over process will take place over the next few days and should be completed by this time next week at the latest.

Trust Chair, David Hindley says;

"The Trust has sought assurances from the prospective new owners that the necessary finances are in place. We are encouraged this would now appear to be the case.

Supporters will now have an expectation that the take-over can be completed and the uncertainty surrounding the Club's immediate future can be put to an end".
