The NEP have very generously organised for 20 copies of the famous "Sir" Charlie Palmer photo (running away from goal after scoring THAT goal in 1994) to be printed & framed. The idea is that Richard runs a blind auction and the 20 top bidders win a copy. The NEP are trying to get hold of Charlie so that he can come in sometime next week and be photographed signing the pictures, with the winners, all covered by the paper.

We'd very much like to thank the NEP for agreeing to do this on our behalf at such short notice.

Please could you send your blind bids directly to Richard Stanton at the following e-mail address:

richard.stanton@talk21.com

The plan is to run the auction until 1000 tomorrow morning. The pictures should be available next week and we, with the NEP's help, are trying to track down Sir Charles to arrange the photoshoot.

The top 20 bids will be deemed the winners and they will be notified by email tomorrow. Unless there are any exceptional circumstances we hope to distribute them either at the photoshoot or at future games (to keep postage costs to a minimum).

We will be asking the winners to send in there money to me at 41 Jenny Burton Way, Hucknall, Nottingham NG15 7QS. Cheques payable to Notts County Supporters Trust.

Dear all
Firstly many thanks to all of you who took the time to bid and for your generousity which, I can truly say has been overwhelming.

My 10am this morning 43 bids had been received. I am in the process of informing the winners and losers as we speak. Not that there are any losers.

If all goes well the auction will have raised just over £2500!

Fantastic.

And watch this space for an even bigger fund raising event!!!

Thanks again
Richard
