What do you reckon the chances are to arranging a 'testimonial' of ex-NCFC players before one of our league games - I know its unlikely we'll get the likes of Martin O'Neil, Shaun Goater (well he almost played didn't he?) and Craig Short but it would get us even more media coverage.

Has anyone lobbied the larger Nottingham businessess like Capital One, Imperial Tobacco or Boots?
If Capital One can sponsor F*rest to the tune of Millions surely they could offer some kind of token amount to the saving of Nottingham's oldest club?

I've been in touch with Boots but nothing back. The benefits to Capital One by getting involved could be compared to the way the two Glasgow clubs work, i.e. sponsor both teams and widen the potential market. We need to start doing this type of lobbying as the Trust rather than individuals...
