A question for the board, How come the awards are being held in the Tommy Lawton Bar,its going to be cramped and I think the fans deserve better, surely we can have the Meadow Club or Oriental Suite, its the fans that saved the club, and it would have been a nice thankyou for their support during a difficult season, it would have been a nice gesture to be in a decent size venue. Whats your view.

Is this question addressed to the Trust Board or the Club Board?
If it's to the Trust Board, then I have to admit I have no idea. I assume it is a decision reached between the Supporters Club and the Conferencing managers.
Don't know why they couldn't use the Meadow Club, would seem to be the ideal venue.

It was for the Trust, don't we have an influence with these awards then?

It's a Supporter's Club do. I knew there was an SC player of the year do, but I only found out the exact date last week.
The voting slips have been around the ground for a while, there was some in reception with a ballot box last week and I know there was some stuff in the shop at the last home game.
I don't envy anyone running a 'player of the year' after this season. I voted for Rico, mainly because of his efforts to help the Trust
