Hi there,

Over the past few seasons, reports have circulated that Notts has had one of the biggest playing budgets in the division.

Given that the last accounts showed a small loss, despite the fact that we received unbudgeted income from TV money, I would like to know:

1) Will the playing budget be reduced for this coming season? If so, by what percentage? How will the club ensure that any changes in the playing budget do not negatively impact on the club's chances of success?

2) What is the club's budgeted break-even attendance figure for the coming season?

Thanks.

Martin.

i dont think notts ever had one of the biggest playing budget in league two, you got to remember we do not have anybody to cover any losses we make in a season we stay a flood by supporters we got to pay wages out to players, staffs & other workers that works down the lane, i think we got at best we got a midtable budget that why i think the trust as to lose control of the club for notts to have any kind of future.

We have been told, repeatedly down the years, that we do have one of the biggest playing budgets in League Two.

Given that season ticket sales are down this year I would like to reiterate what Martin G asked.

1) what will the budgeted break-even attendance figure be for this year?
2) will the playing budget be reduced in light of less income?

The news today reports that we have had a cash payment from the League for McGoldrick and Best. Given that this should be a bonus income (i.e. it should not have been budgeted for) where can we expect this money to be spent? Will it be used to strengthen the team or in other areas such as making up the loss in season ticket sales?

I reckon it will be used to make up the shorfall of our gate being below the average 5,000 we ridicuously budgeted for last season. I would still like to know what gate we are budgeting for this season.
