For a start bring 10 of your mates to the Tranmere game and ask each of them to bring 10 mates and ask your mates to ask their mates to bring 10 of their mates then ask your mates to ask their mates to ask their mates to bring 10 of their mates then ask your mates to ask their mates to ask their mates to ask their mates to bring 10 mates and that way, 100,000 will show up and we'll be saved.

Good concept.
But I haven't got 10 mates.
Life's too short to stuff a mushroom.

Surely everyone knows at least 5 people though?
If everyone brought 5 mates, and those 5 invited 5 more and so on and so on, with a good marketing campaign it should be possible to fill the Lane quite easily.
What about "Pie Fives"?! Group tickets available at £25 for every group of 5 people (ie. a fiver each).
Leaflets could be dropped on the bar in pubs, at student unions, in youth clubs and for notice boards at big companies etc. With a bit of imagination and effort (eg. fans activities mobilised by the Trust) we could make more of a difference than Pavis or Scardino ever did!

Whilst the attendance on Saturday for the final match of the season against Cheltenham Town was undoubtedly swelled by the masses of visiting supporters, it was encouraging to see the club combine forces with the local media to offer discounted tickets.
The importance of matchday revenue to clubs, particularly those in the lower leagues, cannot be understated. There is an increased correlation in the modern game between the size of a club's supporter base and its opportunities for success. Increasing accessibility, whether through discounted tickets, incentives, community-centred schemes etc. can only help Notts County to secure a broad and long-term supporter base and increase opportunities for developing further other income streams.
