It is good to see some forward thinking (re: announcement that under-10s season tickets for next season will be free, with under-16s tickets only £36) but why do supporters have to hear the news first from BBC Radio Nottingham? (what about fans that do not live locally).

Has any consideration, either at Club or Trust Board level (or both) been given to developing a coordinated PR strategy to promote this? There are some excellent suggestions on NCM/Rivals about supporters, local businesses, schools, youth and community groups, etc downloading a generic flyer to help raise awareness of this new scheme. Incredibly, the news hasn't even made it onto the official club website...

On a related issue, there have also been suggestions both on Radio Nottingham and the Pie mailing list that a) adult season ticket prices will be frozen for the 06/07 season and b) there will be yet another new home kit. The first is encouraging, especially when most Clubs will no doubt be increasing ticket prices (will the pay on the day prices be staying the same?) but I would have thought yet another change in kit design is a bit much. We must be close to the likes of Manchester United for the number of kit changes in recent years. Can the Trust please pursue the idea of offering fans a guaranteed minimum 2 year life-cycle for the new design, as well as encouraging supporters to be engaged in the decision-making process on the style of kit.

Cheers,
Dave
