Nigel, (or any other trust board member)

Why is it that some individuals have not yet received notification of the SGM either by E-mail or snail-mail?

Stu

I have checked our records and the documentation was sent to your "registered e-mail address" as per the rules. If this has changed, please update us and we will happily send another set.

John my email address is unchanged and I have checked spam etc. I am clearly aware of the notice but am concerned that even amongst the small group of trust members I am incontact with there appear to be a significant number of non arrivals.

Stu

Please let me know the e-mail address you believe you should be receiving notices on.

Sending documents to you now. That is not the address we have on record as the "registered address".

Would the trust not have been safer to snail-mail the notification as well as emailing?

People change their email address frequently - they change their home address less frequently.

With this fact in mind that your membership email database may be out of date would it be more prudent to snail-mail to ensure you reach maximum chance that member has been notified?

Also given that Stu Rolley was a trust board member and would have been on the Trust Board emailing group (googlemail groups I believe) you would have thought you would have got his email address right at least!

Maybe Stuart Rolley inadvertently forwarded his E mail address incorrectly, these things happen when you are working under pressure every working day Bazza.
No one person is infallible you should be aware of that, it can catch even the most meticulous of people out, some times.

I appreciate we all make mistakes but as ManchesterMagpie has just said "he received the trust newsletters but not the SGM notification" - where did they get his email address wrong there?

How many people out there are unaware that there is even a SGM taking place that are members because they have not received any notifications/newsletters etc?

I have to say Bazza I received mine by e mail & my wife received her's by the snail mail as she does not have an e mail address, apparently her excuse is she spends too much time during her working day looking at the screen we call a computer, Oh Dear.
