The Football Supporters' Federation (FSF) believes rumours that the 2006 FA Cup Final may be moved to a Wednesday night, or replays scrapped in the later rounds, are the latest in a long line of assaults on England's oldest football competition.

A bucket collection at Meadow Lane yesterday (22.1.05) organised by Notts County Supporters Trust, and aided by Notts County Supporters Club raised £453.16 for Wrexham Supporters Trust.

After this Saturday’s encounter against promotion chasers Scunthorpe United, Notts County Supporters Trust is holding a fans’ forum in the Masson Suite at Meadow Lane.

Before the Scunthorpe game members of the Trust Board members will be armed with buckets raising money for Wrexham Supporters Trust (WST). The collection was originally due to take place before the Swindon FA Cup tie, but at the Club’s request was re-scheduled.

At the first Trust Board meeting of the year, nominations were invited from current Board members for the role of Supporter Director, the post currently occupied by Steve Thompson.
